A very straight forward hole when played sensibly. A 3 wood should help you find the fairway, leaving a simple pitch up to a flat green. The 'Tiger Line' with the driver is over the gorse to the left of the fairway from the tee. If successful, a long uphill chip will be required for a birdie opportunity.
Take this hole with a pinch of salt though! It's SI 4 for a reason. Out-of-bounds left off the tee, big drop to the right and a severely raised green with thick rough left and fern right. You'd better be accurate. Oh, and almost always into wind!
TIP: There's a mound to the back of the green that rolls long shots back so don't be scared to club-up. |
