Frequently Asked Questionsmany people ask the same questions Are temporary winter greens and tees in use?Temporary Greens are never used but, if weather conditions are poor, mats may be in use. Do we have a dress code?Not as such but we do expect visitors and members to wear appropriate golf clothing on the course and to adopt the smart but casual approach in the club house. Headgear is not permitted in the club house. Shoes worn on the course are not permitted in the clubhouse. Is there suitable accommodation nearby to those who wish to stay over?There are many hotels and guesthouses in the vicinity. We have a special arrangement with the Royal Oak Hotel in Welshpool whereby residents may receive reduced green fees. The names of further establishments will be added in due course. Are tee-off times restricted for visitors?There are few problems during the week but weekends can be busy and visitors are generally restricted to between 10am and 11.30am and after 2pm. In any event advance reservation is recommended. |
